Short biography

Amr received the B.Sc. Degree in Electronics and Communication engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, and the M.Sc. degrees in Wireless communication from Nile University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2004 and 2012, respectively. From 2006 to 2007, he served as a Radio Planning Engineer for WCDMA Networks at Vodafone Egypt. From 2007 to 2013, he served as a Radio Optimization Expert for WCDMA Networks at Orange Egypt. In October 2013, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University, Qatar, as Research Associate for wireless networks. Starting May 2016, Amr has become a member of the IMDEA Networks research team as part of the Wireless Networking Group, led by Dr. Vincenzo, Research Professor at the Institute. From September 2016, he will be pursuing a M.Sc. in Telematics Engineering, University Carlos III of Madrid. .
