I graduated, with honours, from the University of Nairobi in 2006 with a bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I subsequently worked as a software developer for a local start-up before joining Ericsson in 2008 as a Solution Integrator. Over the course of six years in Ericsson, I carried out deployments of the flagship Charging System in over ten countries in Sub-Saharan Africa including Nigeria, Madagascar and Congo Brazzaville. I was also involved in the initial stages of the deployment of the Ericsson mobile money platform in Nigeria
In 2014, I was awarded a Swedish Institute Scholarship to study a master in Wireless Communications at Lund University's Faculty of Engineering (LTH) in Sweden. While at Lund, I participated in an early stage research project on the compression of complex baseband samples on the C-RAN front-haul.
