Underwater communications, underwater localization algorithms, digital signal processing

Short biography

In 2008 I graduated from Saint-Petersburg State Transport University as an engineer in «Automatics, telemechanics and telecommunication" with honors. Then I completed my Master Degree in Digital Communications at CAU Kiel, where I extensively studied wireless communications and digital signal processing.
My interest in Underwater wireless networks stems from my studies in CAU Kiel. As a research assistant I was taking part in the development of a system, which was to localize an underwater mobile object using a specially designed signal. Further, during my master thesis, me and my supervisor Dr. Ivor Nissen were developing a new algorithm to perform silent localization of a mobile underwater object.
