Pablo SALVADOR obtained his Ph.D. from University Carlos III of Madrid on April, 2016. He is now a Member of IMDEA Networks’ Alumni Network.

Pablo Salvador received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) in 2010. During his degree, he collaborated in the Spanish project, POSEIDON: Optimal Service Supplying to Moving Vehicular Networks. Collaboration in the design and development of a trial mobility network scenario and in its presentation demo. Later on, he performed an internship of 9 months at NEC Laboratories Europe, where he collaborated in the European project, INTERSAFE-2: Cooperative Intersection Safety, by implementing of the application-level messages to improve safety and traffic efficiency in intersections. In 2011 he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Telematics Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. He was awarded as nationwide finalist of the Telematics Association for his B.Sc. project. He has involved in the EU research project FLAVIA funded by the EU's Seventh Framework Programme.
Pablo is working on his Ph.D. at the Institute IMDEA Networks. In 2014 he was a visiting scholar in the Rice Networks Group (RNG) at Rice University (Houston, TX). His research interest focuses on the design and experimental assesment of new MAC schemes for real time traffic in 802.11 wireless networks. He is also working on the real implementation of MAC mechanisms for power line commuunications technology (PLC, IEEE 1901).
