Short biography

I have been a Ph.D. student at Institute IMDEA Networks and currently a Ph.D. candidate at University Carlos III of Madrid. My full birth name is Syed Anwar Ul Hasan. I use the former (shorter) name: Syed Hasan for research publications. My advisor is Dr. Sergey Gorinsky. I have also collaborated and worked with Prof. Constantine Dovrolis (Georgia Tech) and Prof. Ramesh Sitaraman (University of Massachusetts, Amherst). During Spring 2012, I was visiting Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), and was advised by Prof. Constantine Dovrolis. I graduated from Institut Eurecom/Telecom ParisTech with Masters of Science degree in Commmunications and Computer Security in April 2009 and got my Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication (with Distinction) from Osmania University, India in July 2007.
